Who writes

Every article is signed. Its main author is Jérémy GOMES, whose page presents his background, current role and certifications.

Every article shows its publication date and time, in Paris time, and the date of its last update when it has actually been revised. Articles are written in French.

What we publish

Two kinds of articles. News, filed under News, Vulnerabilities and Threats, covers dated facts: exploited flaws, attack campaigns, incidents, advisories from authorities. Guides and analyses explain a method or a setting, and are updated when the topic evolves.

The tone aims to be clear and free of alarmism: what is affected, what is established, what to do.

Sources and verification

A news article relies on verifiable sources, primary ones whenever possible: the affected vendor’s advisory, CERT-FR bulletins, the CISA catalog of exploited vulnerabilities, the NVD, published research reports. They are cited and linked in the article.

Figures are attributed to their source. What is an assumption is presented as such.

Corrections

An error can be reported to us through the contact form or by e-mail. A factual error is corrected in the article, with the date of the correction.

Independence

No article is written in exchange for payment from a third party. ForenShield also offers free tools, software and services: when an article points to one of them, it says so.
