Everything you need to know about the cookies used on ForenShield.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember you and your preferences, either for the duration of your visit (session cookie) or across repeated visits (persistent cookie).

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies for several reasons:

  • Essential cookies: required for the site to work properly (login, security).
  • Analytics cookies: to understand how the site is used (anonymized where possible).
  • Advertising cookies: to offer relevant content (with your consent).

Your choices, rights and proof of consent

You can change your choices at any time via "Cookie preferences" opposite, or by configuring your browser. We store your decision (date, preferences) in secure local storage for 6 months, then renew it.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, objection, erasure, restriction and portability. You can exercise them with the DPO. In case of persistent difficulty, you can contact the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Third-party services and transfers

Strictly necessary cookies are served from our own domain. Any analytics or advertising cookies come from third-party providers subject to your consent. Some technical data may be hosted or routed outside the EU (e.g. CDN, Supabase) with appropriate safeguards; we limit trackers and apply internal security policies (Supabase RLS, encryption in transit).

No service-role or privileged-access cookie is used on the browser side. Permissions remain confined to the public anonymous account and database RLS rules.

Managing cookies via your browser

You can configure your browser to block cookies. Note that blocking all cookies may degrade your experience (authentication, preferences, security).

Configuration links are on the right, under "Browser help".
